Automatic Classification
When new emails arrive, FlowMail's AI reads each one and classifies it by the action you need to take:
- No Action — Informational emails that don't require a response
- Simple Reply — A quick response is all that's needed
- Multi-Step Response — Requires thought, research, or a longer reply
- Review Needed — Documents, proposals, or content to review
- Scheduling — Meeting requests or calendar coordination
- Delegation — Something better handled by someone else
When classification determines that action is needed, FlowMail creates a plan to handle it — connecting directly to the Plans system so nothing falls through the cracks.
You never have to manually sort your inbox again.
Important vs. Other
FlowMail sorts every email into two buckets: Important and Other. Important emails are the ones that need your attention or action — a question from a colleague, a decision that's waiting on you, a deadline approaching. Everything else — newsletters, notifications, FYI messages, automated alerts — lands in Other.
What counts as "important" is personal, and FlowMail learns your definition over time. Every time you correct a classification, the AI adjusts its reasoning. After a few days of use, it knows that emails from your CEO are always important and that weekly digest emails never are.
Smart Card Assignment
Every email is automatically routed to the right Card based on its content. An email about Project Alpha goes to your Project Alpha card. A message from your manager goes to the right relationship card. You always see emails in the context where they belong.
The AI Learns From You
Disagree with a classification? Just correct it. FlowMail doesn't just record your correction — it analyzes why it was wrong and adjusts its reasoning. Thread-Based Conversations
Emails are displayed as threaded conversations, so you always see the full context of a discussion. No more scrolling through disconnected messages trying to piece together what was said.

- j / k to navigate between emails
- e to archive the selected email
- r to reply
- c to open the card picker
- Shift + Arrow to multi-select emails for batch actions

Batch Smart Commands
When you select multiple emails, a batch bar appears where you can type natural language commands. Say "important" to reclassify them all, "delegate" to flag them for delegation, "assign to Project Alpha" to route them to a card, or "schedule" to mark them for calendar follow-up. FlowMail interprets the command and applies the right action to every selected email at once.
