Calendar

FlowMail includes a built-in calendar that syncs bi-directionally with your email provider's calendar (Gmail or Outlook). Events live alongside your email, cards, and plans — so scheduling decisions don't require switching apps.

Three Views

Choose the view that fits how you think about your time:

  • Month — A traditional grid with a mini-calendar sidebar for quick navigation. Click any day to see its events.
  • Week — An hour-by-hour grid showing your schedule at a glance. Drag to select a time range and create events inline.
  • Agenda — A flat, scrollable list of upcoming events. Best for quickly scanning what's ahead.

Switch between views using the toolbar at the top of the Calendar page, or press 4 to jump to Calendar from anywhere in the app.

Quick-Create Events

Click an empty time slot in the Week view or the "New Event" button to open the quick-create popover. Fill in the title, time, and optional attendees — the event syncs back to your email provider's calendar automatically.

For events that need more detail, expand the popover into the full create modal with fields for location, description, and card assignment.

Event Management

Click any event to open its detail popover where you can:

  • View the full description, attendees, and location
  • Edit the event details
  • Delete the event
  • Assign it to a Card for context tracking

Changes sync back to your email provider in real time.

Card and Plan Integration

Calendar events connect to the rest of FlowMail:

  • Card assignment — Link events to a Card so they appear in the Card's context alongside emails and plans.
  • Plan follow-up — After creating a calendar event, FlowMail can optionally generate a follow-up plan: send a confirmation email, set a reminder, or prepare materials before the meeting.
  • Schedule tasks — When you mark a Focus Queue item as "Schedule," it flows directly into calendar event creation.

Keyboard Shortcut

Press 4 from anywhere in the app to jump directly to the Calendar view.
