Installation​

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag FlowMail into your Applications folder.
  3. Open FlowMail from Applications. On first launch, macOS may show a security warning — click Open to proceed. The app is code-signed with an Apple Developer certificate and notarized by Apple.

Once installed, follow the Connecting Accounts guide to set up your email and AI.

System Requirements​

  • macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
  • Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) — Intel Macs are not supported
  • At least 4 GB of available disk space (more if using local AI models)

Updates​

FlowMail checks for updates automatically every few hours. When an update is available, you'll see a notification in the app. Updates are verified with Ed25519 cryptographic signatures before installation.

You can also check manually via the Check for Updates menu item.
