AI Drafting

Writing email responses takes time — not because the words are hard, but because you need to hold so much context in your head. What was the original question? What's the history with this person? What tone is appropriate? FlowMail's AI drafting handles all of that for you.

Context-Aware Responses​

When you ask FlowMail to draft a response, the AI doesn't just look at the last message. It considers:

  • The full email thread — every message in the conversation, not just the latest one
  • Your card's system prompt — the context you've defined for this area of your work
  • Your relationship with the sender — how formal or casual your communication tends to be
  • Your communication preferences — your writing style, common sign-offs, level of detail

The result is a draft that sounds like you wrote it, with all the relevant context baked in.

Add Instructions​

Guide the AI with specific instructions for each draft:

  • "Decline politely and suggest next quarter instead"
  • "Ask for the deadline and who else is involved"
  • "Keep it brief — just confirm receipt"
  • "Be more formal than usual, this is going to the board"

You stay in control of the message while the AI handles the heavy lifting of composition.

Always Review Before Sending​

Nothing goes out without your approval. Every draft is presented for your review and editing. Add a sentence, remove a paragraph, change the tone — then send when you're satisfied.

Draft Learning​
